If you have ever read anything about quantum physics, you have probably heard of
Wolfgang Pauli's
exclusion principle. But this principle which explains why matter and atomic nuclei even exist without collapsing, is just the tip of the iceberg of his contribution to our understanding of nature. The extension of Schrödinger's equation to take into account the phenomenom of spin bears his name, and he is the guy who first proposed the existence of Neutrinos to explain the strange energy lag in beta decays. He did not pull punches and was a fierce thinker and feared audience member in scientific talks. You better grew a thick skin if you presented a speculative idea in his presence. He originated the phrase "this is not only not right, it is not even wrong".

The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
