You are not remotely original as you think. At least professor had the dignity to leave after two failed predictions.
And now I have an idea.
The world will not end, that's not what I'm saying. Just saying I've been coming across that date more and more, and really thought nothing of it. However there are perhaps going to be some major events surrounding that date. I don't want to say it's a guarantee, but information is pointing that direction.
"The world will not end"
In what context? This planet has survived 5 mass extinction events including the one that killed off the dinosaurs so I agree in that context. But religious conspiracy bullshit and political conspiracy bullshit and climate change denial can lead to worse economic conditions for more workers worldwide, that in turn can lead to more regional and global conflict which can lead to a nuclear war, and if a nuclear war happens our species will be knocked back to the stone age at a minimum, if not go extinct.
That video has nothing to do with realistic ecology or human behavior or global politics. It is simply Weekly World News "Bat Boy" crap. The only thing that kind of crap is good for is rushing in unnecessary end.
Religion suffers from "self fulfilling prophecy" the most. Si fi crap is just as bad but not as big.
The world will end, just like an individual life does. Scientists have proven the average lifespan of all the different types of stars, we cant control that, but your bullshit conspiracy muddles our species ability to focus on real problem solving.
