I don't even have a name for this one but basically you take a shell steak ( a/k/a NY strip steak ) about 3/4 of an inch thick and egg it and bread it. Then saute in olive oil with some garlic for 7 minutes per side on medium heat and then eat it with whatever side you like and a French or Italian dry red wine.
(Grandma taught me this but I can't remember the name.)
Also, there is Jamaican steak.
This is a flank steak or top sirloin.
The trick here is the marinade.
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tbsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
I make the marinade up in the late morning and let the steak sit in it for 5-6 hours, turning occasionally.
Then grill for 5-6 minutes per side ( I always pour the excess marinade over the steak while grilling) and serve.
My wife loves them both and vegans miles away jump off buildings!
