The Republican Independent Council Mueller, who is quietly going through Trump and his associates like shit through a sick goose? The fucking FBI? What is that, in your mind? A Socialist front?
What are you going to do if these continuing investigations actually do reveal collusion between members of the Trump team and Russian agents? What will you say if it's revealed that Trump was knowingly involved in Russian money laundering schemes (or, just as bad, their unwitting dupe)? What if it turns out that Trump is actually legally blameless but nonetheless so beholden to Russian banks -- and therefore to the Russian government -- that he is hopelessly compromised by his financial connections? Are you going to stick your fingers in your ears and deny it to the bitter end or be a fucking patriot in more than name only?
For my part, I'm content to reserve judgement on these matters until the conclusion of the investigations. They're too important to treat like a local high school football game. Yeah, I loathe Trump and have since the '80s. The man is a parvenu and a pig -- always has been. But my contempt for him doesn't cloud my judgement on the "Russia question". Neither of us is in possession of the necessary relevant facts, so crowing about an outcome that may not become public for another year or two is asinine.
As for your remark about having a conservative SCOTUS, I'm sure you are thrilled. Shit, without the Kochs and other beneficiaries of Citizens United being able to pump as much as they want into our elections and frame public discourse to serve their ends, wherever would you get your talking points from, working man?
