Christianity is an umbrela term. Each group is basicly, its own faith but is brought together by shared history and a foundation based on the NT. To bring them together and attack the contradictions brought up by such a merger is not dissimmilar to bringing Judaism and Calvinism together and pointing out the contradictions.
