Before I respond to this... know that I hold exactly zero liking for Descartes.
Stop: Atheism is not Materialism. A disbelief in the existence or a belief in the nonexistence of gods is not a belief in everything being material. One can easily be a theist and believe that gods are material. One can easily be an atheist and believe firmly in spirits, ghosts, wraiths, bigfoot and other mystic creatures.
'True' knowledge is utter nonsense NTS.
And while one might not consider a thing scientifically so due to not having extensively tested and peer reviewed this... one can easily consider it so based on their own observations, sometimes regardless of testing. And yes, even materialists.
Logic is, itself, circular. Do you have a problem with logic, or is this arm-waving?
Has mathematics had exceptions yet? Nope. It means that the chance of science, math, logic, whatnot in this universe or at least where we have observed: is
Likely to not be false, on the evidence that it hasn't failed yet.
It is indeed. However "mere" a belief in 'God' is anyway.
The fuck is all this "just" believe nonsense you and the OP and everyone else in this seems to be spouting?
You do believe the pc will fire up. That's it. It's not a 'merely believe'. It is not a 'just believe'. Nor is it an 'only believe'. And 'simply believe' is no less ridiculous.
Thank you everyone... have nice day

Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
