Can God be seen in the maths?
RE: Can God be seen in the maths?

One thing we know for certain is that nothing in the universe violates the laws of mathematics. And it's a pattern that even after all the failed theories and physical laws, can't seem to be shaken.
Probably, the main reason is self equivalence. By the very act of existing in any form, real or imagined, absolutely nothing can NOT be itself, because that would by very definition make it something else.

Take the number two for example. There are an infinite number of other numbers, but no matter how hard you try, you cannot say two is X when X is not two.
The operations you perform in mathematics are no different.
The reason 1+1 cannot equal 3 is the fact that the phrase "1+1" is simply another way of expressing "2".

If you want, you can try to define 3 as being two like so:
The following count of tallies shall be called 3: II
The following tallies shall be called 1: I
Therefore: 1 + 1 = 3

But you're not doing anything special there. You're just calling the same number by a different name.

What would it look like if something in the universe violated the laws of mathematics? I don't quite see how you can make a rigid logical connection between mathematics and the universe. We can describe the universe using mathematical theories, but those are violated all the time because they are not exact to infinite precision.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
