CIJS, that I've dated a lot of religious type men and atheist men (I didn't sleep with them all, relax lol) and BY FAR, the guys that I've dated who've been atheists were the most chill, generous, and non-sexist men out there. (not to say there aren't atheist sexists out there, because there are) But, my husband for example, is a non-theist. I've noticed that non-theists just make better lovers, partners, and listeners. They care about their partners' needs and my husband isn't looking to fit me into a prescribed role that is based on an ancient book of tales. I do like him to lead in the relationship, I find that masculine and sexy, but because it works for us, not because it's being forced on us, and he is forcing it on me.
Non-theists make better partners, imo.
