I'm a vegan and like most vegans not a believer in organised religion (atheist). I'm also (as my name would suggest) a skeptic and surprisingly that's what I find people react most negatively to rather than my lack of religious indoctrination. I find that people are used to disagreements with regards to religion but mention that the homeopathic remedy that "works for them" is nothing more than a placebo and you can upset a lot of people, religious or otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, I don't go out of my way to upset people but when I see people spouting incorrect information on to the net I have an insatiable urge to correct it - this is the reason I avoid Yahoo Answers!

Anyway, nice to be here and I look forward to some interesting discussions. Smile
