In the countries that are ruled by Islamic's Gays are executed and women are second class citizens where they can be jailed for being raped. I am not a fan of Christianity but i do see that one is plainly better and more tolerant than the other.
The rulebooks they base their beliefs on are the same. The mentality behind those beliefs is largely the same (indoctrination making them believe whatever their parents and community leaders have forced into their minds), making it unquestionably true. Only the interpretation of the books (or making stuff up out of their asses) really differs, but the ingredients for both are the same. So, as I said, indistinguishable from one another as far as the preparation of the recipe, but just poured into many different bowls.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
