NO, I am not "special". Our plant is 4 billion years old, our universe is 13.8 billion years old, and have been around longer than I have been and will be here long after I am gone. If you want to find narcissism look no further than religion.
And FYI, I don't like the word "respect", I never use it. I say "value" instead. "Respect" is far too much never used in the intent the user says it. Far to often it really means, "Don't bruise my ego." and "Know your place."
I certainly value human rights, but claims do not deserve blind value outside the right to make the claim. Others have the right to call the claim crappy and or demand evidence for what they assert. I am under no obligation to buy it blindly or never criticize a claim at all.
