We're starting to sound like some of the theists when someone declares their non belief.
We have opinions in it, certainly. But at the end of the day it's a personal choice.
Let's not alienate anyone over this. We're still a community.
What next, we practice shunning as the JoHos do?
I don't get how you thought anyone on here was giving them crap about THAT? The whole deal was clearly about false equivocation and it was pointed out numerous times. Their pretending not to get how either ignorant or dishonest that is, is almost certainly trolling or inexcusable stupidity. That in and of itself has nothing to do with their religious beliefs (but their lack of knowledge of non-faith perspectives). Their trying to lump lack of belief in with faith is just moronic. It's like saying evolution is a religion; no one wants to hear that shit and when an attempt to correct that is so far over their heads it might as well be in orbit, well, troll or head case, right?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
