I know this guy personally, and I can verify that he hasn't not researched a lot, and so have I, for the last 2 years about Christianity, and I even helped him convert. Don't say that I am ignorant and would never listen to a Darinistic point of view, i spent time trying to see if evolution was justifiable. You guys are the reasons atheists have a bad rep.

I'm just pissed he's (now confirmed to be intentionally) misrepresenting lack of faith and equating it with faith. Atheism is not a religious worldview. If religion didn't exist, atheism would be the default and have nothing to do with a religious worldview and no religious person could dispute that. That religion just does happen to exist doesn't change this but they like to make it sound like it does because it makes them think they sound less preposterous.

Yes, I understand, but you wouldnt call it athiesm then if everyone was athiest then, would you? No, but it exists, because religon exists, it is the lack of belief in a religon, a religous view while not a religon
