Because, as a fan of M*A*S*H, I have to say, Frank Burns is really the most consistently popular main character in the series (even if it is mainly because the audience loves to hate him). Of course, it also helps that they occasionally showed the human side to his character: a deeply flawed man who never really made it out of his childhood, a childhood where "I'm from a very strict family. We weren't allowed to talk at meals. We couldn't even hum. Anybody who hummed got a punch in the throat." Seriously, try watching some of the more Rimmer-centric episodes of Red Dwarf and some of Frank's episodes and see how similar they are.
FYI moron, both left and right use the bullshit "you live in your mamma's basement" meme. I could give a shit less what you think of where I live our who has supported me. None of your fucking business in any case.
Non violent human beings should not be treated like trash just because you don't like how they got here. My Hispanic neighbors have far more empathy for others than you do. You are just a ignorant scared baby because you don't want to accept that the world doesn't owe you submission.
Yep, I love my mom Ferret Face.
And, really, has AT actually showed anything like that? Comparing him to Frank Burns is an insult to Frank Burns.
Popular isn't my point. He was popular because he makes a great idiot, not because fans of the show think he had good morals.
Darth Vader makes a great bad guy, but the character is a bad guy. Frank Burns isn't written with the intent to sell the idea we should emulate him, he was written in the context of the entire show to convey the not so pretty side of war, and we don't need more hyper nationalists like him.
A Theist is stuck on the idea that because someone doesn't live here that they are "other", and that is simply flat out false because we have always been the same species. Frank as a character is tone def just like A Iheist is in reality.
