Yes! Because who do you want in a partner in the end (assuming that you're not working on picking up someone for a quick superficial fling), someone who first and foremost notices you because of some nice (real or pretend) feature of yours, or someone interesting you can talk to like a normal person.
Plus, it helps from spoiling them.
