Me too, I haven't gotten any since 2001. But then again, I am also 50, been through the rejection, the dating and marriage. Relationships are work, I think romance is way overrated. Relationships are when your other is sick in bed, or had a bad day at work and snaps at you. Glass slipper sappy crap isn't reality.
I don't mind romance, but once the New Car dealership excitement is over, you have to check the tires, get the oil and belts changed and keep gas in it. Love isn't in flowers. The real work is in communication skills in problem solving and consent, compromise and even knowing when it isn't going to work out.
