NK is threatening with nuking US

I mean how come US? Why not Mexico or Canada or Europe or Russia? I mean what do those politicians do that NK doesn't want to nuke them but wants to nuke US?

The direct reason for the regime is those others don’t have a recent track record of inciting regime change, nor having the political and military ability to deploy necessary assets to do so in the near future.

A deeper factor that allowed the regime to behave this way is koreans have a very deep nationalistic outlook, and a sense of many historic injuries,  of having been prevented from attaining unification that is a natural state of any diligent and cohesive ethnic group, resulting in a reflextive grievances against any powerful foreign forces who came and stayed.  

From the North Korean ethnostate-nationalistic perspective, the Americans were the ring leaders in preventing the land of the Koreans from being unified under a strong nationalistic leader like, in their opinion, any ethnostate ought have the right to do.   Furthermore the Americans stayed, and thus subjected whole korea nation to a continued state of division and humiliation, and worse yet the Americans proped up japan, the historic ethnic enemy for which the entire Korean nation bore an almost unquenchable apoplectic hatred.    As an ultimate final straw, the Americans are still sparring no expense to impoverish the only part of Korean homeland free from foreign occupation by denying it international trade, thus trampling on the only part of Korean ethnic pride it hasn’t already crushed.

Can we give them the Drumpf to do with as they please in hopes that that will reduce their hatred?

They will instantly stop hating us if we give them South Korea and withdraw our forces completely from the Korean Peninsula.

North Korean hatred for the US is because of what we do, not who we are.   Their fear of the Chinese and their hatred of the Japanese, on the other hand, is because of their assessment of who the Chinese and Japanese are based on 2000 years of history, not what the Chinese and Japanese do right now.  The US has only existed in the Korean consciousness for 80 years.   For most of their 2000 year history, they were alternately fending off the Chinese and the Japanese, and offering themselves as vassals to the Chinese in return for protection from the Japanese.

To assign irrationality to the hatred of an enemy may whip up frenzied domestic support for a short term military action, but if such a military action can not offer prospect of resolving the issue, then it is utterly counterproductive to any alternative course.
