Know what?
I get $196 a month in SNAP benefits to feed FIVE people. Yup. I have to try and make that stretch as far as I can and we still end up spending over $400 a month outside of that on food. What people don't understand is that SNAP benefits don't pay for cleaning supplies, toilet paper, kleenex, tampons, pads, razors, shaving cream or anything else that isn't edible but that homes need to be clean and all.
So when we have to use the money we reserve for the non-edible stuff, on the edible stuff, there's gonna be a problem. That isn't the only issue, but it's also going to take away from me being able to get my prescriptions every month.
I really hate this country.
