The larger majority of the fans don't give a shit about the protests, or the anthem, or 45's version of patriotism one way or the other. They just want to watch the games.
Even without protest, when you talk about empty seats, they never want to ask something like "Why in the 1980s when the Saints sucked huge donkey balls, did they not go under?"
Well that is what corporate socialism looks like.
Even outside the NFL this is what big business has learned to do, pay lobbies to get congress to write laws that allow them to profit share when they win, and socialize the losses on the tax payers when they lose.
And it is why the strip mall across the street from me is mostly empty. Because the rest of us pay for them staying empty.
I agree most don't give a shit, but they SHOULD give a shit. If you are pissed at labor, and not the owners whom blackmail tax payers, you are missing the point.
