What about getting together and North Carolina girls, now?
For the record, I live in Charlotte - a place I would highly promote as a gathering site...but sometime in the fall if you please. It's hot as balls here right now. We have a nice pub here called "The Flying Saucer" (which has a few other locations all over the south), where the girls wear short pleated skirts and knee socks and they have a ridiculously large beer selection. And it's fairly cheap to drink here (as compared to where I grew up in Northern VA).
But I travel 6 hour distances all the time to visit family and friends and as long as I have a couch to crash on so I'm not paying the exorbitant prices for a passably clean hotel, I'm willing to make a drive. I actually have a great-Uncle in Louisville, KY and therefore would not mind making a drive that direction.
