I sincerely hope that the entire current raft of sexual misconduct allegations towards celebrities turn out to be true, even (much as it pains me to say it), the one against Takei.  Because if ANY of them turn out to be false, that would easily encourage a nothing's-going-to-be-done-about-anyway-so-I'll-just-keep-my-mouth-shut-about-it mentality in the victims.
