You can resist all you want. You can't stop other people from choosing how they identify themselves. If she's not hurting anyone, who cares.
No. But that's because people are getting stupider as time passes. Someone can identify as a pretty, pretty penguin if he wants, but I'm not going to build a pond for him and feed him fish all day.
Reality is pretty simple-- if something is defined by DNA, and you don't have that DNA, you don't get to be that thing, no matter how much you dream of it. You can pretend, and ask other people if they wouldn't also mind pretending, and that's usually pretty harmless. But getting a lot of people to agree to pretend doesn't make it real.
