Some Astrophotos I took on my birthday (August 4)

Yet another atrophoto
Here is a reprocessed and cropped photo I took of the globular cluster Messier 13 on 04/06/2011. If you download this image, and then zoom in and scan around the image, you might find a bunch of very faint galaxies. I didn't realize that there were so many in this region, otherwise I would have taken many more exposures of this object in order to bring them out where you can see them more clearly. I will have to try this next time I get the chance (probably next year). Also notice all the very pretty blue stars. I love this cluster.

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else!
