You are entitled to your opinion. But if religious bigotry is the only is the only problem that it faces, is it not a rather sad reflection upon the atheist community that it has thus far managed so ineffectively to extend itself?

Not so far as I know. Of course, it may not always be possible for me to be aware of any particular name that I might be known by. As to why that should affect your decision as to whether to vote, that is entirely beyond my comprehension.
