Cold shower

I've experienced the lack of breathing due to cold water as well, not pleasant. Can't say I saw any clowns though...

And no, I will never watch that again. I lost a week of being able to sleep at night, and at least a month more (i think three) where I would sometimes be unable to sleep and be completely and utterly terrified of the dark (still can be...).

Really... my 'terror squeal' is something to be proud of... it's almost a scream... but it's a whimper... and panicked like you wouldn't believe until you hear it.

Just have neither a bath or a shower, use a wash cloth. You can get dry shampoo if you want to 'wash' your hair without water or as you're only doing your hair heat some up on the stove/in the kettle.

I actually do both, I have a bath then when I'm done stand and shower to wash off the dirty water I've been lying in.

I used to do that, but too many people complain about how long it takes me when I do. It's good for relaxation... could certainly be better.

Warm water only for me, women seem to like scalding water in my experience. I wonder if it's because they don't have dangly bits that mens bodies try to keep at a regulated temperature or if it's just my experience.

* Violet is a transsexual woman who likes somewhat 'scalding' water... and she has the same 'dangly bits' that men do. Infact, her 'dangly bits' are sturdier and far more potent than most men's. What a man the world has lost in this woman... would say for shame, but that wouldn't feel the same.

So it's just your experience. Merely 'warm' water isn't relaxing for me

Hon: that 'arctic ocean' is about 45 degrees off of how cold my shower was. I'd rather swim in the arctic for ten minutes than have another one like that.
