Hard to miss when it goes flat to your head. Easy when in something as malleable as your mouth. It's the difference between shooting a target flat on, and shooting it backwards through some gelatin at the target.
Further, you are dead when in a vegetive state of the sort. That your platform lives on is irrelevant.
