I freely admit, when the Pentagon footage was released I was underwhelmed, in the sense that it didn't show anything particularly damning or confirming. But if we're going down the conspiracy rabbit hole, with the resources to fake a terrorist attack, why the reliance on shonky gas station CCTV instead of beautifully rendered CGI islamists screaming "Admiral Ackbar!" from the windows of a passenger aircraft? Why admit openly that that's the best you've got?
