Actually the exact opposite is true. Humans are the only species of animals that (when they choose to) have sex strictly for procreation. It is impossible for any species besides humans to have sex strictly for procreation because humans are the only species that have sex education classes.
When a bull mounts a cow, neither participant has any clue that as a result of this act, a calve will come out of that orifice a few months down the road. Therefore it is very likely that the only reason other species have sex is because it feels good for at least one of the participants (which is not entirely different from my own sex life but I digress).

Correct. Which means it is a taught behavior. Which means we could remove the phenomena entirely from our culture within just a few generations if we simply stopped teaching it to our children.
