I gather that you are into movies. I as well. My favorite movie of all time is 1939 Wuthering Heights. And not just because of the timeless beauty of Merle Oberon. The dialog in that movie is spectacular!
I love the scene where Heathcliff' asks his wife, the sister of the husband of the woman he truly loves, who is Catherine, "Why are your eyes empty?" To which his wife responds, "Look at me!" "I'm young and I'm pretty!" "My eyes are not empty!" "They are full of love for you!" "You are my life, let me be but one breath of life to you!" To which Heathcliff responds angrily, grabbing the wall behind him, "WHY DID GOD GRANT ME LIFE!" "WHAT IS IT BUT HUNGER AND PAIN!!!"
