With cake, ice cream and other goodies, it’s a minefield of good stuff.
Make sure to invite a lot of people over to share in the “disaster.”![]()

Well, so far, it's going pretty good. I got a new messenger bag (the straps for my old one are starting to fray), Everyman's Library copies of A Hero of Our Time and the Collected Stories of Roald Dahl, along with Volume 5 of Knausgaard's My Struggle, the new collection of the collected works of Washington Philips and also an air compressor. It's a shame that I'll have to wait till Christmas for the Vox VT20X amp, but it's not like I have any pressing need for a new amp in the next 11 days.
I'm not currently on a diet, even though I probably might need one (then again, every pound of fat I burn the standard way is one I can't turn into soap later). I'll likely make it a low-key affair, eating at L. Wood's with my Dad.

btw ..when you'll go with your Dad to eat at L. Woods ..then think we're all with you .. singing to you Happy Birthday !!

..and i'm glad that you got nice presents... especially from this air compressor

One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day."
