Ever heard about the Vegas shooter?
The guy snapped, no thanks to religion, and -ironically just like religious terrorists- inflicted a deadly storm of rounds that dropped about 50 or 60 civilians, in a concert.
Another story goes, as a selfish fuck who fooled some Christian people, not through promises of heaven; but through promises of gold. The assholes robbed Constantinople and caused the defeat of the Eastern Roman Empire. No religion was included actually; they were just hungry. Actually religion told them not to rob; but they did it anyways.
There is also a very big atheist asshole called Joseph Stalin. He wasn't just from Georgia, he also claimed he is a defender of the rights of the workers, and was against religion, in theory and practice. He had a very bloodthirsty life that killed so many.
I think the problem is humans. All kill you and blame somebody or something else for it: logic; race; religion; God; nationalism.. reasons differ, but man is the same. Killing is the same.
