Human scum.
Now all we need are two "miracles" that manage to clear the subterranean bar the Catholic church sets for such things and we can fast-track this son-of-a-bitch to sainthood.
Saint Bernard: patron saint of child molesters and moral cowards. That has a nice ring. He could take his place next to that spiritual vulture Teresa.
Cardinal Law cost the church hundreds of millions of dollars (actual damages and lower collection plate hauls). One might have thought he could have at least been criticized for that at his funeral. Besides the sacramental/ritual child abuse, worship of Mammon is another major focus of the church and negatively impacting the bottom line is a grave sin indeed.
We know Cardinal Law had the dirt on quite a few of his underlings, maybe he had some dirt on some higher ups too ??
It's clear, the church would have been aware their silence on his gross and lurid misconduct would be conspicuously obvious during his funeral, and the networks noted it too. The pope did the 'math' and chose silence AGAIN.
The conclusion is there for all of us to draw:
The Roman Catholic Church is STILL a safe haven for child molesters.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
