Some birds spend almost their entire lives on the wing. But there are also things that float in the sea so birds could perch on them for a bit and then fly around for a bit eventually making landfall.

There you go.
No god required.
Contrary to popular belief, I have actually studied the subject a bit over the 20+ yrs I have lived here. There have been many landslides when a volcano comes out of it shield stage here that may explain an island to island migration. Some of the indigenous birds here are only found on one island. There is one migratory bird here. They fly all the way to Hawai'i from Alaska and back! It is an amazing story. How do they know it's here? This tiny dot in a very large ocean!

Yet, these islands are thousands of miles from anywhere! There are no seagulls here because it's way too far away. How did the others birds get here? The common report is that these migratory birds came here and quit flying! What would make them fly out into nothing! Come here and say, "That's it, I'm done with that shit!" Now their land birds?

Then theirs the Hawaiian Monk Seal. Where did they come from? The Mediterranean? Why don't they have ears? They are endangered because they are very territorial and often kill each other. They are their own worst enemy!

The only other mammal that lived, and still lives here, before man is the Hori Bat. They're really small! Someone suggested that they ended up here because of a large storm. Really?

As far as floating here thousands and thousand of miles with out food or water in giant ocean swells seems pretty impractical! Yet, in your defense, every piece of trash in the freakin' ocean you can think of ends up on our beaches. If you go to Ni'ihau or South Point Big Island (these place are not kept clean) you will see everything!

If we can explain the indigenous birds, then we can explain the indigenous plant life.

Another common consensus is they compare us to the Galapagos Islands (we are far more remote) and say, "life just happens".

Are we talking "Magic Evolution" now?

Well! Must be Magic Creation then!
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
