Some of us are or have been moderators at busier sites than this. Are you urging us to suspend judgement, or simply to shut up?

Neither. I'm asking that the Staff at this site be the ones doing the moderating.

No one else is doing any moderating -- we obviously lack any power to do so. The only thing we can do is opine ... and that's the topic of this thread, no?

I should think the staff would want performance feedback.
