I live in rural northeast Ohio. It's not the worst place to live, but, there's not many opportunities, particularly for a guy with severe mental illness. I suppose if I didn't have that, maybe I could have saved up my money and left. I don't know how much better my life would be somewhere else.  Maybe not much.

There is a lot to be said for stability, and being somewhere you know well with familiar faces around you.
Sorry to hear about the issues you are coping with, life's a bitch sometimes.
