Different cultures and communities depict different images of Jesus. Where I was born (a Christian village in the Middle East), Jesus is depicted as having black hair and looks Middle Eastern. You might be surprised to know that, in some cultures, Jesus is also depicted as looking Asian.


Don't you think this itself is sufficiently a naturalistic explanation?

Perhaps, but do you think the fact that Christians report these deep experiences with Jesus while Muslims don't see Muhammad proves Christianity?

No, it just shows that Christianity is about a relationship with God through Jesus, while Islam is submission to Allah. Two different ways of thinking about God and/or prophets mean different attitudes among the respective adherents, different sets of doctrines, and differences in visions and such. The differences say nothing, though, about the veracity of either religion/faith.
