While I'm of the opinion that most domesticated dogs really never would attack, I do feel like extenuating circumstances change everything. If your dog is fucking starving, it might try to take a bite out of you, or someone else. You can't blame the dog. It's hungry. That said, plenty of starving dogs never try to eat anyone, so there is that. It is quite difficult to predict, unless you have a golden retriever.

I once read a story about a pit bull biting an infant and (yes, this is fucking disgusting), eating its genitals while the parents were in the next room. I wouldn't leave my baby in the room alone with a dog.
