All scientists did so far was to scratch the surface and that only involve the physical aspect.
Nothing about the non physical one.
Scientists so far never bother to see whether changes are due to a desire to evolve or just random changes.  

If how we evolve was indeed down to desire, why don't all men have a ten inch willy like mine?

Simple Cod.

Because other men are smarter than you.
They understand that the gland that control the sex is much much lower on the spinal cord than the one that control mind and spirit.
If the lower glands are able to give few seconds of pleasure the higher glands must obviously give much much more pleasure.

You chose to get one egg today rather that the whole chicken tomorrow.
