the bible clearly stated that in the new earth no SUN was required because God was the light of the earth.
In the beginning it clearly states that the spirit of God moved across the face of the earth, if God is the source of light it's not a contradiction for the sun to be created later.
What you're posing as a contradiction is thinking both verses are in reference to the sun, they're not.
