RE: Disproving Odin - An Experiment in arguing with a theist with Theist logic

It's reasonable to conclude there is no Odin, just as it's reasonable to conclude there is no Yahweh. They are both fantastical claims with virtually no evidence.
But proving they don't exist is an excercise in futility. Even if they were deliberately made up by someone, that doesn't stop them coincidentally existing somewhere outside of our ability to detect. The same goes for any nonsense I make up. The only yardstick we have is being logically consistent, but our ideas of logic might not translate very well outside of our local area.
Saying "Odin is just mythology" translates exactly to "Yawheh is just mythology". It's not proof of non-existence. We could just estimate that the chances of such a thing existing are slim, because they're so ridiculously specific and unlike anything we've ever encountered before.
I wonder if Huggy will ever realize that they are equivalent.
