A question, though. Since when does SERE training allow people to have cell phones? Is the military getting that candy-ass these days? He should be focused on the training.
It's not so much *what* they saw as it is the actual vibe of the photo and what it entails, etc. But I do feel a little better about it now.

During the academic portion of the training they stay in a hotel room and can have whatever they want in the room. When they are in class or out camping/doing resistance training, then no, they cannot have their phones on them.
