When life leaves the body, it returns to dust.

Without the power of life, there is no such thing as a living human being.
But you can argue with the hospital staff if you like, but they are facts.

When God created man, he assembled the body from the basic elements of the earth, and then gave him life. Until that moment there's the body but no being.

That power of life animates all things - whether atoms, plant life, animals or people.
It also governs and creates all physical laws.

Without this integral power, nothing can exist and nothing can function normally.
