It's an indoctrination manual right from page 1, gleefully damning all non-Muslims to torment at frequent intervals. I had suspected it wouldn't be as bad as the bible, but after reading, I think it's worse. It's a very focused document right from the start, as opposed to the mish-mash of random stories in the Old Testament.
A verse or two would prove your point.
