Specifically which one of the claims do you dispute? Just saying "You don't live here" doesn't achieve anything. Not only that but you have absolutely no problems commenting on the apparent attitudes of the majority of Muslims in the middle east as evinced in previous discussions, but seeing as you don't live there we should just ignore you or any opinions you might have, or any data you can find, and just turn to someone who lives there for the "Truth".

Do you deny that Obama and his buddies fits just as many of the specifically defined (albeit a different selection) 'points' of Fascism as Bachman?

Do you deny that Ron Paul meets less of them than Obama?

And do you deny that any one person meeting some of the criteria for Fascism does not make them a Fascist and that subsequently your labelling people Fascists is absurd?

Quote:Perhaps in New Zealand there is a Libertarian party which has not sold out to the extreme right? I do not know. If there is, how many seats does it have in parliament?

The ACT part is fairly close to one, perhaps 70% of their policies are compatible, on the Nolan chart they'd be high on economic and personal freedoms. "Extreme right" isn't a useful term, you likely mean by it both fiscal and social conservatism, where as ACT are fiscally conservative and socially very liberal.

Quote:Over here, with a two party system there is only one way for a minority party to make a dent and that is to take over one of the existing parties. The Libertarians, and they are as entitled to use the name as you, over here have thrown in with the republicans and the xtian right.

Correcting for your useless generalisations; Some of them have, and it's liberalised the Republican party - You can thank the libertarian leaning folk in the GOP for the Republicans who legalised gay marriage in New York.

Quote:I appreciate that you don't like being lumped in with them but Rev and I did not do the lumping.

We both know it'd do you no trouble to specifically talk about people in terms of their specific ideologies, you haven't bothered.

Quote:The republicans and jesus freaks gladly took the Koch Brothers cash. The fuckers deserve each other.

And Obama gladly took donations from financial moguls, receiving 3 times as much from bankers/investors than McCain according to Politifact - It's be hard to argue that the Cocks have done more harm than the financiers, add to that the bucket loads of taxpayer funds Obama gave them like Mummy kissing their boo-boo's after they fucked up.

I guess they "Deserve each other" too.
