There was, ofc, a point at which bible nubbins pulled the interpretation card..and then pointed to some other verse that said something that;s supposed to be nicer abut how to deal with your sex slaves. Just as Atlas is doing for his magic book, now.
Despite your differences of religion and opinion, what all magic book believers have in common is an inability to accept a simple and self evident truth about magic books. They were products of their time and culture, and come to us loaded with every mistake those people in that time and culture made. They're filled with things that "don;t befit god"..a least in our modern minds..but those things were the very essence of god in the minds of the people who wrote the fairy tales.
