If I'm playing basketball with them, I'd say someone who passes the ball, and gets back on defense. I wouldn't care if they beat their spouse.
If I'm marrying them, not beating their spouse would be much higher on the list than transition defense.
No setting really just an extremely general way. Like, I guess you could separate it to people in general you meet offline and people in general you meet online.
For me it's the same everywhere with exception to things like games and stuff lol. Unless we're in some sort of strict setting where everything becomes super impersonal and is all about following specific rules.... as long as we're being informal enough to actually talk to each other, even if it's supposed to be formal it often becomes informal, then the qualities I listed make sense.
And some of them even make sense in formal settings. Even if someone is not a friend to me I'd still prefer they were intelligent and honest and not a douche, for instance.
But yeah of course there are exceptions like basketball and stuff lol. Then I just want the person to be a good team player and play well but not cheat or foul lol.
