His argument is basically an Argument from Consciousness.  But, why was his dog squirming throughout his show?  And, why is his dog different than the speechless infant whose picture he displayed?

I think he mentioned his dog might be better behaved once it has a bigger bladder. Meaning it needed to pee, and he wouldn't let it down.

Well, clearly, then, the dog had consciousness and knew that pissing on his owner was likely a bad thing!
