Prior to recreational legalization here, free samples were very common. I'm not sure where you are, but you may be able to find some that you can try for free. I would start with a small test spot on the back of your hand before applying it over a large area. I have heard of people who are allergic having a bad time. My experience is such that I wouldn't recommend spending any serious money until you determine if it has any affect on you, placebo or otherwise. Others have told me they get a tingling sensation from the area they apply it to but the only time I experienced anything remotely like that was when the CBD oil had been blended with eucalyptus oil.
