Israeli's live in a tiny country surrounded by much bigger countries who all want to kill them.

If you try to imagine their circumstances, you can kind of understand why they are overly defensive and even paranoid at times. I imagine they feel their lives and their community literally depends on getting the message out loud and clear that they will not tolerate being messed with. This is why I'm not anti Israel like a lot of liberals seem to be. With that being said, what happened here is clearly tragic and wrong.

I'm all for the civilians. But we (US government)shouldn't be supporting governments that steal land that legally belongs to others and goes on bomb fests every so often while regularly using automatic weapons on minimally armed protectors that usually can't harm a hair on their head.
