When I was a teenager I knew a few other teenagers who said they were wiccan. It seemed to just be an extension of that type of teenage lifestyle, especially among females. Listen to rock music, dye your hair, wear colourful bracelets, tell people you're Wiccan.
Beyond that I don't know much about it. I think people join the religion because of the image surrounding it.
And I don't know in detail about what their rituals include but it seems to me that a lot of what they do might enjoyable to some people regardless of spirituality or religion. Their rituals seem to be outdoors quite a lot, and it does feel good to get out of the house and go for a walk in the woods, I do that anyway when I'm not in work. I guess some people might enjoy the hand holding and chanting while everyones dressed like either teenagers in a rock band or someone from Braveheart. I wouldn't enjoy that though, I'm too self conscious.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
